The NS8 Solutions Engineer is a full-time resource, focused on enhancing our enterprise customer’s NS8 Software Platform deployment. A hybrid of Consultant and Software Developer, this customer-facing role requires the individual to work with our customers, Professional Services team, and Sales teams to understand specific enterprise business needs and develop and deliver solutions from a software development standpoint. What you will do:
- As a Solutions Engineer, you will help scope and deliver NS8 software Platform extensions. These extensions could involve, but not be limited to NS8 API, WebHook, and other coding projects and consulting. Custom integrations accessing core NS8 solutions via web services. Custom utilities for NS8 user migration, on-boarding, and reporting Provide development estimates to be used for costing of Professional Services Statements of Work. You'll also handle scheduled customer calls, debug issues, and provide a quick turnaround for reported issues. This position is remote and we will provide a computer for you. Candidate must be based in the United States. Less than 25% travel required. Travel would be team building events, trips to our Vegas office, or on sites with clients.
- NS8 engineers have a strong grasp of at least one programming language and are familiar with several others. We have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and concepts like static typing, data encapsulation, inheritance, and abstraction. An ideal candidate would have experience with one or more statically typed languages such as Typescript, Java, C#. Some of the technologies we use are NS8 engineers who are passionate about high-quality code and processes. We understand the value of automated testing, continuous integration, and monitoring. We have high standards. We hold ourselves and others to these standards through code reviews and daily interactions. We strongly value learning from our peers through collaboration.
